Course Description
Students travel through Europe to study the “Literary Landscapes” where classic literary works were written and take place. When not traveling to these featured sites, class is taught in the Gold Room of Harlaxton Castle in England.

- Harlaxton Manor, featuring high tea in the Conservatory and a formal banquet in the Ballroom
- Weekend in the seaside village of Whitby to explore the gothic Abbey and other literary sites from Dracula
Poland:
- Tour of Warsaw, including Royal Castle and POLIN Jewish Museum
- Krakow, including a city walking tour and a traditional Polish dinner
- Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum
- Oskar Schindler’s Factory
- The Wieliczka Salt Mine
Hungary:
- Budapest, including a city walking tour of Jewish Quarter and a traditional Hungarian dinner
